Nash worked as an intern at Arthur Anderson Business Consulting in Malaysia during his second year University summer break. Upon graduation, Nash joined KPMG Australia's audit & assurance division, mainly with manufacturing & services clienteles, which included amongst others, fashion labels (Hang Ten), and financial services (Diners Club International) credit card securitisation. He left KPMG Melbourne as a Senior Accountant in 2001.
After 8 years in Australia Nash returned to Malaysia, where he joined Petronas Group Internal Audit department. He later joined Petronas Group Finance and was involved in the biggest capital raising in Asia of 2002, a USD1 Billion Petronas Bond Issuance together with the roadshow team consisting of Petronas CEO, Tan Sri Hassan Merican, CFO Dato Ishak Imam Abas and Senior GM of Treasury, Encik Ahmad Nizam (later Tan Sri Ahmad Nizam, who became a long serving chairman of Petronas).
In 2003 Nash left Petronas for the UK, where he joined ExxonMobil UK as the Upstream Financial Analyst. He later joined the project finance team at HSBC Investment Banking, Canary Wharf London, with targeted clients in Asia in particular.
These experiences prepared him for the the corporate, professional and entrepreneurial worlds.
